I
am getting a bit of a late start. It is too late for what I had originally planned so I make a quick change of plans. I have decided to go back to the Museumsquartier. But which museum to visit? After checking online to see which has which exhibits, I decide on the Art History Museum.
On my way in, I pass the three fellows playing accordions outside on a bench wearing rubber horse masks. An interesting way to capture the attention of passers-by. I love the one on the end in the white mask. Purchasing a ticket, I am greeted by the dramatic entrance hall, staircase, and cupola. I have decided to start at the beginning – the Egyptian and Near East art collection.
